Hi Everyone -
We all know that modern Rickenbackers (in my case, a 360/12) have a larger headstock than reissue guitars. Therefore, the reissue tuners will not fit a modern Rick. Does Gotoh or any other company make vintage style kluson tuners that fit modern Rickenbacker headstocks?
Thanks,
-Chris-

Sorry...I thought that I could answer your question, but after re-reading your post realized that wasn't the case. Best of luck.

Chris- Stew-Mac offers oversized bushings for guitars that have been routed for what I call "big, clunky tuners". They come in round or hex styles and fit in the oversized holes while maintaining the correct vintage look. Figuring a way to bush the sideways tuners without plugging and re-drilling might be more of a challenge! Any ideas from Dale or Paul our resident Rick repair specialists? -Dr.Phil
