Sansho - the current switch is a combination potentiometer and bypass switch, not the DPDT switch in my diagrams, which is the older switch no longer being sold in the RIC boutique.
Link to the current wiring diagram if all you want is the bypass. This is the bass version, but works on the guitars as well: http://rickenbacker.com/pdfs/19557.pdf

Hi,
I would like to know if this .0047 cap and push/pull pot mod is recommended for a Ric 330/6 2-pickup guitar since I see it mostly on 12 string models. I have replaced the hi-gain pickups with toasters and, even though I'm close, I'm still not getting that vintage tone I've been looking for.
If it is recommended could I please have a copy of the diagram.
Danny, I will be happy to send you a diagram, but before I do, it might be just as easy on a two-pickup guitar to purchase the bypass push-pull from the boutique and put it where the 5th knob is and wire it as the 4003 bass is wired with the bypass. That way, when you switch from "modern" to "vintage" you can pull the 5th knob and adjust the gain of the neck pickup at the same time.
Thanks for your reply. The problem is I wouldn't know how to connect the push-pull using the schematic. I have a wire going from the 5th knob to the p-up selector switch, and another from the 5th knob to the bass volume knob. Then there are two wires which attach directly to the chassis of the 5th knob which I'm assuming are grounds.
I was wondering if your diagram shows where to connect each wire on the push-pull and capacitor. Sorry for my inexpertness; hope I'm not being much of a bother.
