Hi
Most Ric aficionados of course know about the legendary Suzi Arden; once a locally well known country and western
guitar picker and entertainer who appeared regularly in a combo at The Mint in downtown Las Vegas for years.
At onetime in the '60's, her little combo was an all Rickenbacker band. Suzi also played what history now tells us was an important watershed role. She purchased the very first Rickenbacker electric prototype from F.C Hall in 1963 and introduced this sound to the world. (The second prototype which was somewhat different was given to Beatle George Harrison in February 1964, by F.C. Hall).
QUESTION:
Does anyone know what has become of Suzi Arden and where/what is she doing today?

In recent years, Suzi has organized and performed at the "Darden Family Festival" in June at the family farm in Mapleton, North Carolina. According to Suzi, she played her Rickenbacker 12-string on the album "Live At The Mint Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada."

I have a personally signed by Suzi old vinyl copy of that very L.P. you speak of in my collection.
Today, in 2008 does anyone one know what she is doing?
It would be so nice If she found us on this Forum and/or her former band mates and became a participant(s).
There is a zillion questions I'd love to ask her.

IIRC she has been in poor health within the last two years.

JB, refresh my memory; what does "IIRC" mean? I can't remember.
Nice Janglemen tuneage on your MS page btw! If Sfd gets the opportunity to open for the NYC premier of the "Brittown" movie doc, we'll have to book a show topgether. :)
Sorry to hear that Suzy Arden's in poor health. :( I wish her the best. Some of her vintage album covers et cetera are super cool! For those forum members who haven't already, I suggest googling her name and checking out some of her music and cover art. :)
