Wow, Mike Campbell makes a documentary specifically for his guitars, and I think Tom Petty already has a six hour documentary from a few years ago. I can talk about gear for hours, but wow.
I think Mike and Tom have very good taste in instruments, as their beautiful Rickenbackers speak for themselves. Interestingly enough, the only Petty songs I like feature their Rickenbackers. Mike is obviously a talented player, though.

Too bad that the "petty" money/music machine insists that you buy a paid membership to view the videos.
I've seen other videos where Mike Campbell has been outstandingly generous, especially dealing with a kid who build a home-made clone, and never had to charge a penny for it.
They are of no royalty value whatsoever at pennies a view to the Justin Bieber accountants, but a real source of wisdom for serious musicians.

Nice to hear the correct pronunciation out of his mouth, too.

Too bad the eight-string bass was only set up for four strings! I was hoping to hear the full growl!
