That was pretty cool !!
I wonder what they all were smiling and laughing at.
They sure were having a good time playing "Looking Out My Back Door".

I also checked out the "Proud Mary (Beat Club)" video.
First time I ever saw John Fogerty with a mustache.
In that video it looked like all three guitars being played were Rickenbackers.
Anyone want to confirm that ??

That is cool. Too bad it's grainy black and white. Funny how they gave every band in that era the acid tripping treatment not matter how contrary the song was to it.

Thanks for confirming that.
I was getting dizzy following the shots in that video.

It's so funny. If there was an anti-acid band in those days it was CCR. Yet there they are, produced as if in an Austin Powers flick, only in Black and White, which is also about as anti-acid as it gets.

I think the coolest thing in the song is the Buck Owens reference.

That is a cool reference. Being from IL, and visiting once or twice a year, I get a kick out of the "just got back from Illinois..." line.

Not to mention that the live video of Travellin' Band puts to rest the theory that you can't play smokin' leads on a Rickenbacker - and he's playing a short scale model!
