Just got back from seeing the 'Born To Rock' exhibition at Harrods. It was amazing, far better than I expected. Rickenbacker is strongly represented with about 15 or 20 on display. I saw the 'Frying Pan' for the first time, what a piece of history! Most of the frets have come off so I presume it's never ever played. Peter Buck's 360 was there, and Johnny Marr's 330. There was a beautiful 1967 325 model and various other 50's and 60's models. A rick 'Lightshow' was also on display, would have been nice to see it in action, but all the guitars are incased in perspex boxes. I think my favourite was a 1959 Capri, I was drooling by this point! Some of them were in such good condition they could have come out of the factory yesterday. There were lots of other guitars and bases on display as well, and some original art work by Ronnie Wood. I strongly recommend you pay it a visit if you can get there, you'll love it.
