Wow. I really never knew my aunt was THIS famous.
She's in great health. Just saw her Sunday.
Although, her husband just died. It's a really hard time for everyone in the family, especially her.
She still does the festival, it happened last Saturday and it was awesome. Right now she's at her house in eclipse, Virginia but she lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
So yeahhh. The festival was really good. She did an amazing job. She even got us kids up there to play with her ;) next year some of you guys should come. Haha

My sincere condolences and Very Best to Suzi, you and your entire extended family. I'm so, so sorry to hear of Suzi's loss. I've always felt Suzi to be a very important part of our collective "Ric family" now world strong with us now so many Rickenbacker owners. -Suzi was a most important pivotal pioneer with the very first Ric 12 stringer prototype. (This was even before Beatle George Harrison, who was the second).
I actually have an old (which was signed by your dear aunt!) copy of her and her band "Live At The Mint Hotel vinyl L.P. and still often play the cuts from that album!

Suzi lives in Virginia. She and her family have an annual Ole Time Country Music Festival on their Darden Family Farm in Mapleton, North Carolina. The next one will be on June 18-20, 2010. I have an old messed up home video of her playing the guitar you all like in Alaska, but don't know how to post it.

Carole, You might to try to email John Hall at the email address he shows on his Profile for these Forums as: CEO@rickenbacker.com Make certain you write something significant on the subject line concerning Suzi. He might possibly provide you some tips on how to do the above and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd really enjoy watching this video you speak of himself. It's worth a shot at least. I'm a staunch Suzi fan also and I own 2 copies her vinyl L.P. "Live At The Mint Hotel." she put out so many years back. One of my copies is personally signed and inscribed by Suzi.

FYI, Suzi Arden was inducted into the Sacramento Western Swing Hall of Fame on Oct. 2, 2011. You can do a search for Suzi Arden on YouTube.com and find all the videos I have posted of her.
