Howdy and welcome to the forum. My main guitar is a 620/12. Great feel, light body and of course the Rickenbacker sound we all know and love. You use the word had. What happened to it? I also noticed that you are from NYC. There are many RIC dealers in and around that area. Anyway, stick around and once again welcome.
Steve

The 620 is a very capable guitar, either for cutting through a recording mix or playing on stage.

I got one a little over a month ago. It's a great guitar -- extremely well made, sonically versatile, very comfortable to play (at least if you like Rick necks, which I do, but I gather not everyone does), and looks great, too. I'm not sure why they're not more popular than they are.

I've owned my jetglo 620 for 15 yrs. Had a 620/12 breifly, too. Fantastic guitars, by far, my favorite solid bodied guitar ever. Yes, I'm a big fan as well.

I've had my 620 for 3 or 4 years now. I've always liked it but it took quite a while before I really got serious about setting it up right. I finally spent the time to get it adjusted properly and I enjoy playing it more now than I ever did before.
This guitar is setup so well now I haven't even had to tune it for a couple of weeks!
