Any Fender, Roland, or Vox will do you. I love the chime and warmth of a Vox AC30.

...for Fenders, you should try a few different models out. While Rics sound good through any amp, it's a good idea to find something with good headroom and can compliment your playing style. ;) I prefer Hot Rod Deluxes and Deluxe Reverbs. Twins don't have the chime or headroom I like, but it may be your kind of sound.

Twins have the most headroom in the whole game!
That's what they are renowned for clean at high or low volume

Not for Lassiebacker, he is better with your Deluxe suggestion as something smaller

Poor lassiebacker would get two feet carrying a twin, especially and old one!

Well, that's just like you, uh, opinion man. Just ask Johnny Marr about Twin VS Deluxe in headroom.

It just doesn't do it for me, really. I'm spoiled by Vox.

Yes AGNOP yes I like Deluxe and yes they have headroom, However when you crank the volume, the Twin will stay much more focused. At very high volume the Deluxe will struggle, the twin will relish it! ;) Go totally voluminous and the deluxe will simply distort. That's a win for headroom for the twin!

OK you can mic up a deluxe or any amp but that's not the point.

Opinions re twins having the most headroom, more like an agreed consensus :geek:
Mr Marr wanted a 20 foot Fender Amp, he really wanted a stack of twins!
Ask him yourself!

He said he preferred the Deluxe for the headroom. The 20-foot amp and million mile long Rickenbacker (Or whatever) wasn't specific to model. ;)

I know the Twin stays clean at high volume, but that's of no value to me. I mic everything.

Marr is quite a funny man, I enjoy his childish sense of humour, ok he's lacking in specificity re his desired gear. Obviously he likes Ric's and Fender amps that is my favorite combo to date as well.

For lassiebacker maybe a Vox will give him the sound he is after.

First he must get the handle fixed, I wonder how that's getting along.

I believe I'll go for the new Vox Ac15 twin :) Not too big in sound, but the size is right for the right price. The handle(s) are still in the case both are unattached... But I need to get it fixed till May the 11th... I'm hoping a new cover comes tonight on YouTube :)

I feel for you! I hate when I cut, sprain or injure one of my ''guitar'' fingers
I get down if I cannot play, it's whats called addicted, I feel withdrawn and not myself until I can play again. Hope it's nothing serious, if it remains sore or swollen you make sure to seek medical advice. It may need to be X Rayed.

My parents are nurses and they say it is nothing serious. It'll hurt, but be sure to use the finger so it wont get stiff. After an aspirin I tried to play some guitar, first it hurted, and I recorded a whole song with the hurty, swollen finger. You can find it on soundcloud now or link: http://soundcloud.com/l-sse-nte/im-only-sleeping . So before that I went on guitar lessons, which was a success. I am going to take it easy on the Ric now. :)
Tomorrow keep in tune on YouTube, maybe a new cover will be published :))
