I picked up a '66 450-12 from ebay this week... WOW... no doubt that it doesn't have the build quality of the other 12 models but the sound of this solid body is quite magical. I was worried about the saddle and intonation but this baby is spot on, neck straight as can be, action quite low with no buzzes and the very narrow neck.

I know it is still new but a nice tool for the RICK tool box... I have an older 360-12 and and 4003 and this one is right up there in sound for me (it is different).

Seems like there isn't a big demand for these vintage babies so if you get a chance to pick one up on the cheap, don't pass on the opportunity.

Congratulations on your purchase. I once had a mid-60s Jetglo 450/12 (who knew back then that the month/year would be an important thing to jot down?) that I wish I could find. Great playing guitar, great sounding as well. No frills, just an honest 12-string.

Enjoy it!
