Hello.

Which model did John Fogerty have? I read somewhere that Fogerty claimed that the John Lennon reissue was mostly based on Fogerty's own model. But I think the Fogarty model had an F-hole whereas the Lennon one did not. (Then again I think Lennon had a whammy bar on his guitar whereas there was none on the reissue...) So which model DID Fogerty have?

Thanks.

The Rickenbacker model played by John Fogerty you are asking about in this case is a Fireglo 325 with an F-hole that was modified with Humbucking pickup and a Bigsby vibrato.

He played a fire glow 1996 rose morris, also called a beatle backer because John Lennon used this model when his 325 was not available.
