Is is safe to use Brillianze Polish on older RICs (ie manufactured pre year 2000)? Thanks!

You bet! This stuff is great on any Rickenbacker instrument.

Hi all,

just found this interesting post, because I'm looking for a an excellent guitar polish for my RIC 350V63 ( 1996 ). Some small places on the body are getting dull.
Is this the mentioned above " Brillianze Polish " that <a gray market dealer> offers on Ebay.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

The label looks right, but you might spend a little more time looking online as the price seems pretty high - at least in terms of prices over here in the US.

Have you checked here?

Not only is this an authorized reseller, unlike the gray market firm you mention, this is absolutely the right stuff.

Hi John & Ric,

thanks a lot for these links, just ordered that polish-set in GB. No chance to get it in Germany.
Isn't " <Gray Market Dealer>" in the midlands / GB no authorized dealer for Rickenbacker guitars & accessories? As I found them on Ebay It seemed to me that it's a honest dealer, too.
Price of the polish-set is the same ( 15,99 pounds with Ric Cloth ) + shipping = 31 EUR. With official dealers in the US it's cheaper I know but shipping-costs are higher. :-)

Hopefully the Brillianze-Set will arrive soon to use that wonderful stuff.

The dealer you keep mentioning is *NOT* an authorized Rickenbacker dealer but rather a gray market reseller. Sorry, but I've edited your messages accordingly as we are certainly not going to promote their business here.

The link I provided are for an authorized Rickenbacker dealership. I'm surprised that they wouldn't sell to you in Germany, if that's what you're saying, given the supposed advantage of the EC market. The best thing, of course, would be for the Brillianize manufacturer to offer their product in Europe as it is really a great polish for many things.

Hi John,

no problem. I didn't know that this shop is not an authorized RIC-dealer that's why I asked here before doing an order.

I have directly ordered this polish-set with this Ric-dealer online. And of course they sell and ship to Germany, no prob.
I meant that I can't buy this article directly from a german Rickenbacker dealer.

I spray Pledge Lemon-scent Furniture Polish on my 370-12 and it makes it shiny. Been doing it for years, no issues.
