 Is Rickenbacker going to come out with the wider neck style (660/12 - 1993Plus) on the 360/12 any time soon? I did buy the 1993Plus, but would love to get the 360/12 model (single bound/rounded top)with the wider neck for my fat fingers!! Hoping they make this available soon!!

I very much doubt it. The 1993 is a wider neck one, but if the frets are same as the 660/12, forget it -- super low profile. I tried a 660/12 and the Gibson ES 335-12 reissue and bought Gibson instead because it has decently large frets. Rickenbacker needs to do a 650-12, YES with the humbuckers, jangle be damned. I just can't have single coil buzz coming thru the PA. A wide maple neck 12 would be cool.

Did you try a sixstring bass? They got pretty wide nex. You could just put thinner strings on it and stretch your pinky an inch or two.

The 660/12 nut is 1 3/4 inches wide.

I not only would like to see the wider neck on the "New Style" 360(although it's not really new), I would also like to see them "Double Bind" the body instead of just the back of the guitar. As long as I'm dreaming, let's make that checkerboard bound!!!
