I purchased a new 325c64 in January that came with the silver vintage case, and after a few months, I'm wondering about the loose fit of the guitar inside. It seems that when I store the case upright (handle facing up), the guitar headstock slides down more than an inch or so. This is primarily where the neck sits on the case pad, as it seems to be too low to secure it properly. I've taken to putting the Ric polishing cloth underneath the neck to secure it better. Also, by pressing on the top rear of the guitar, it seems to wobble up and down more than necessary. For the investment I have in this nice instrument, I'm a bit concerned with all of the bumping around when carrying it. I'd like to ask all of you other 325c64 owners with the vintage case out there if this is a normal fit for this guitar. If so, I suppose I'll live with it. If not, perhaps there's an exchange alternative with Rickenbacker, as the guitar is registered. Minor issue, I realize, but responses are appreciated.

Hi. I have the same problem. Mine was bought second hand, travelled from Washington D.C. area to my home on the Great Plains of Saskatchewan. I was figuring it may have been the change in humidity. But I have noticed my neck has a slight bow inward. I’m taking it to my guitar tech. (He has a Rickenbacker 480 in Burgandy.) I’m hoping this will resolve my problem. I’ll let you know if it resolves my issue.
