In addition to my three Rickenbackers (330/6, 360/12, 620/12--all MG), I have a 71 Precision Bass and two RainSong WS1000s.

Further, I'd like to add a wooden acoustic someday. Does anybody have any experience with Collings guitars?

Apart from my three Rick basses (4000, 4001, & 4080), I have a Peavey 5 string, a couple of Japanese Vantage 6 strings (one a Les Paul copy, one a Strat style, my first 6 string) & an Ibanez 6 string. The Ibanez & the Les Paul copy are the best of my guitars (other than the 4080, of course!).
I'll add a RIC 5 string when it becomes available & a 330 & probably a 360/12 eventually when some bills are paid off.

In addition to my Ric 370/12 RM and my 370/6, I also own 2 American Strats, MIM deluxe player's Strat, a '62 Tele reissue, a Clapton Strat, 79 P Bass, Stratosonic, Taylor 414ce, Baby Taylor, a Taylor T5, Guild Starfire IV, Les Paul Deluxe, and a few other inexpensive acoustics. I have more guitars than talent. :)

Never heard of Collings guitars but for around 1000, you can get a Larrivee Guitar that will blow you away!

In order of acquisition:

71 Tele Thinline
Washburn EA26 (elect./acoustic)
Fender Fretless Jazz Bass (MIM)
Locally made "Stratified Les Tele"
Carvin Bolt (strat on steroids)
Carvin AC275-12 (elect/acoustic 12 string)
Brian Moore C90P.13 (goes nicely with the Roland GR33)

Then new addiction..

325C64
360 BBR on the way

My 2000 330 fireglo, my first love...

My Hamer Slammer sunburst, my first...

My Fender M-80 amp, the living room model...

My Rickenbacker TR14, the bedroom model.

The adventure continues...

OK here goes (in order of age, not preference, as each has its own qualities). 1964 Gibson ES330 Sunburst, 1979 Wal Pro 2 Bass Burgundy, 1980 Rick 4001 JetGlo, 1981 Gibson Flying V Silverburst, 1998 Gordon Smith GS2 Cherry, 1999 Squier Strat Black with Roland GK2 Midi pickup, 2003 Rick 4003 Montezuma Brown, 2003 BC Rich Bich Body Art, 2004 Takamine Ltd Ed Dragon & Bear motif, 2006 Dalmedo Custom 12 & 4 Twin in Fireburst.

They're all played at some time or other although lately I'm tending to just use the Strat, the 4001 & the twin.

The Ricks come first, of course.

To augment 'em, i've got a few Telecasters, a Jaguar, and an Epiphone Dot (335-alike).

I'd get a Rick acoustic if they were available again, but they're not, so I use a Martin DXM in the studio and an Alvarez Yairi DY-88 for live acoustic/electric playing.

My current 'other' guitars:

1979 Gibson L5S (HB pups & very rare Wine Red)

1979 Gibson L5S (HB pups & antique natural)

1982 Gibson Heritage Korina Moderne

1983 Gibson Heritage Korina Explorer (Custom Shop)

1983 Gibson Heritage Korina Flying V

1981 Gibson 'The V' Flying V

1989 Gibson '67 reissue Flying V (prototype?)

1997 Gibson EC-10 (like J-185C electro acoustic)

2002 Gibson Flying V Custom (Custom Shop 1 of 40)

1963 Fender Stratocaster (Dakota Red)

1969 Fender Telecaster (Olympic White)

1991 Fender Newporter Acoustic

1999 & 2001 Fender '57 reissue Stratocaster (both white blonde)

2005 Fender '52 reissue Telecaster (special order in White Blonde)

2002 Fender Mustang Bass

I think that's all of them, nice bunch of axes! I've owned many many more in the past, all gone but never forgotten...

Wait till my Flying V mate Andreja sees this thread, now HE has a collection!!!

Cheers, Kez
