I always gravitate to my Rickenbackers first, but sometimes I like to mix it up with other tones. The collection includes:

1980 Rickenbacker 360WB Fireglo, six string
2005 Rickenbacker 360/12 Fireglo
1966 Rickenbacker 330 Fireglo, six string
1989 Rickenbacker 360 Mapleglo, six string

1993 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 "Ten Top" in Emerald Green
2003 Paul Reed Smith McCarty "Ten Top" in Orange
2004 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Hollowbody Spruce Top

1990's Fender Stratocaster '57 reissue
2003 Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Chrome Red
1995 Fender Telecaster '52 reissue
1999 Fender P Bass

2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Honeyburst

I'd really like to add a Rickenbacker 1997 reissue, a Bill Nash Stratocaster, and--well, the list could just go on and on.

Other than my '05 350V63 (my goto 6 string) and my '04 660/12:

'66 Stewart archtop (used to experiment with components)
'68 Riviera LP Custom style (used to experiment with components)
'69 LP Deluxe Goldtop with Minihumbuckers
'85 Takamine single cut acoustic
'03 Godin Exit22
'05 Godin LG P90

Soon to arrive:

'06 XXL U2-P90 in Porto-burst (burst is darkest port wine color to natural mahogany, guitar is custom made here in Montreal).

All played regularly (minimum once a week), getting expensive on strings.

Rickebacker 650D - stock - It's been the main guitar on stage and in the studio for 6 years now I guess.

I also own:

Gretsch Elliot Easton Synchromatic, Caddilac Green Sparkle - replaced the stock pickups with Filtertrons and I changed out the knobs thanks to "whoa it's todd." It doesn't do anything "better" than the Ric - but it's got a Bigsby and just has a different sound for some of the gritty crunchy stuff.

Also in the stable is a Fender TC-90 (stock). It's a semi-hollow double-cut telecaster with P-90's. Just something with a little twang and cut.

My acoustic is a Breedlove Atlas - don't really have a good shot of that one. I love it. I've never played or even seen a Rick acoustic in person, but I'd like to.

FLDavid - I have played a number of Collings acoustics and they are fantastic guitars. If you are looking in that 'league' don't pass over Huss and Dalton or Santa Cruz as they are all right up there with the very best, and try some Martin's as a good one is really hard to beat.

Well, I got my 381v69/12MG to get into 12 string playing but can't seem to take to the extra strings; reckon I should have gone for the 6 string version - anyone up for a trade?

Guitar wise my main guitar is a DeTemple Spirit '56 which is a high end strat clone and is fantastic, along with a '62 tele deluxe which certainly looks like it has seen better days but has such a great sound. I also have a number of PRS', my favourite being a 2001 single cut with solid brazilian rosewood neck. This has a great Page/Kossoff sound for those '70's moments and a Martin D45 for those acoustic moments.
