I just bought my first Martin! A CF-1 collaboration between Martin and Dale Unger of American Archtops. Since the Summer of 1991 when I attended a builder's convention, I have come to appreciate the painstaking and deliberate process involved in creating an archtop guitar. A flat top will tell you everything about it in about 5 minutes, an archtop takes that much time to warm up. Fortune and opportunity smiled yesterday and I am still savoring the moment. Kind of reminds me of April 1991 when I bought my Ric 360/12, I just couldn't put it down.
I have a varied collection...mostly electrics in addition to my cherished Ric 620 and 330....

I reckon I'll repost my collection...
Gibson SG 2005 - Main guitar Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster 2008 Gibson L6-S 1976, with a pickup mod Modded Squier '51 (There is a whole forum of '51 modders) Fender Classic Player Strat (Notice I don't own American Fenders...) Rickenbacker 620/12 Tacoma DM9 - 2007, around the time Fender bought the company, then shut it down. Made in Washington.
Future guitars: Rickenbacker 620... I want a 610 too. Plus, I like the 400 models, and I wouldn't mind having my 2010 360 back... That would be nice.

After a few years, my collection has grown a bit as well:
- 2002 Ric 360/6 - Burgandyglo (my first 6 string and it still sounds amazing with the high-gains) - 1991 Ric 381v69/12 - Jetglo (high gains as well) - 2010 Ric 4001v63 - Jetglo - 1990 Pedulla MVP4 - Peacock-burst? - 1959 Ric 450 - Black (did they even refer to it as "Jetglo" back then? It's clearly been through a war: broken headstock repaired, refinished ages ago, re-cut pickguard, new toasters... but it sounds like an absolute monster and it's probably the most versatile 6-string I've played) - 1966 Guild Starfire XII - Amber/Brown/Cherry (not really sure about the color, but it clearly spent a lot of time in smokey places because it took 2+ years to get rid of that smell) - 1954 Harmony H42 Newport Stratotone - Sunshine Yellow (has to be re-tuned after every song but that one neck pickup sounds fantastic) - 1968 Standel 430C - Cherry (like a Casino or 330 with a super thin neck... sounds incredible with the deArmonds and an old Gretsch amp) - 1969 Fender Mustang - Competition Orange (in absolutely amazing shape - great little neck pickup too!) - 2011 Fano SP6 - Surf Green (a hybrid of a telecaster and a Les Paul Jr. with a TV Jones Powertron at the neck) - an old 60s Kay Plywood bass

I have a new Telecaster, and recently reacquired my Squier Jagmaster.

New to the forum; not to Rics... in the mid '80's through the mid '90's I owned 19 of them- at once. Now that I have, essentially, become my grandfather and no longer "play out" (at least I haven't for some time now) I've trimmed my list down to: -Ric 660/12 -Tele Deluxe -Alvarez-Yairi Dreadnaught 12 (can't think of the model off hand) -2 Davy Stuart citterns (10 string): 24" and a 16"

First, I have a confession to make; All my guitars are OTHER guitars. In my defense, however, I am a Bass player, and have 2 Ricks in my herd; An '01 4003 and a '73 4001. I never really wanted to play guitar, because of my fingers - short and very thick. Basses work much better for me. Anyhow, the list (all are leftys)- -Jay Turser Telecaster clone -Hagstrom Swede (Gold Top) -Epiphone Sheraton II -Epiphone EA-250 -another EA-250 that someone converted to a lefty, and grafted an Epi 12-string acoustic neck on it. Doesn't sound too bad, either; at least, it wouldn't if I was able to fret less than 4 or 5 strings with one finger!
Will I ever get a Rickenbacker guitar? Probably not. Leftys are scarce, very expensive when you find one, and why should I deprive a lefty GUITAR player of something he can really use and enjoy?
