I can't remember if I posted mine but even if I did, changed in the last year.

I have the following:
2012 Fender Telecaster Deluxe - love it
2011 Gibson ES 330 - love it even more than I thought I would - P90's are brilliant!
2010 Gibson ES 335
2002 Gibson Southern Jumbo
2001 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe - one of the best guitars I have ever played
2000 Hofner Violin Bass

I have only 2 Ricks now, the 325 C'58 and the 1991 360 I got when I was 20.
Next purchase is going to be a Fender Jaguar in burgundy mist or white and then a Fender Stratocaster and then a Ricky 360C63/12 - love talking guitars : )

I have a pretty thin collection.

In electrics have my 650 Frisco, a sunburst 1990 Fender American Standard Strat, a cherry 1974 Les Paul Custom, a cherry Aria Pro Les Paul copy (youngest daughters), and a truly Frankenstein blond Strat ( youngest sons ). Currently have an opening for a Rick 12 string but that has to wait a couple more years till the youngest finishes grad school!

In acoustics I have a late 70s vintage Yamaha dreadnought, a 2005 Cort 12 string, and my late FILs WWII vintage Slingerland arch-top ( yep Slingerland and it plays and sounds amazing! ! ! )

And finally I am down to one bass, a brand new shiny black Hofner 500/1 "Beatle Bass"

I reckon I'll repost my collection...

Gibson SG 2005 - Main guitar
Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster 2008
Gibson L6-S 1976, with a pickup mod
Modded Squier '51 (There is a whole forum of '51 modders)
Fender Classic Player Strat (Notice I don't own American Fenders...)
Rickenbacker 620/12
Tacoma DM9 - 2007, around the time Fender bought the company, then shut it down. Made in Washington.

Future guitars: Rickenbacker 620... I want a 610 too. Plus, I like the 400 models, and I wouldn't mind having my 2010 360 back... That would be nice.

I have a new Telecaster, and recently reacquired my Squier Jagmaster.

I'm giving my Jazzmaster to my father, who's currently working the best he can in SC. I'm making room for my 330.

The Jazzmaster is gone; replaced by a '72 Tele Deluxe. My dad can't play guitar anymore because of surgery on his left hand. I don't have either of the Squiers anymore.

Have been well off the Internet for awhile. New purchase brought me back!
1967 Jetglo 365 purchased and after some disappointment with moldy yucky surprise case, receiving a very dirty guitar and then my trusty shop denting the headstock and doing the worst set up ever, things are good and the new Ric is well! Splurged on a reissue vintage case since nothing leaves the house anymore and don't need more protection!

Hello fellow Rickenbacker lovers!

Iam 46, male with a wonderfull girlfriend
From BC Canada

Purchased both of Ric's in 2010 from Long and Mcquade Vancouver(Terminal)
A gorgeous new 2008 360/6 MG was the first and 6months later a used 2005 650C JG

The rest of the arsenal

1996 50th anniversary Fender Strat - think the colour is called Banana cream
2011 Gibson Les Paul 60's trubute honeyburst with p90's(really sweet)
2004 Epiphone Jumbo acoustic
19?? Yamaha FG/420/12 acoustic
Early 80s or older Tokai strat
2003 Epiphone EB-0 bass
2009 Fender Victor Bailey acoustic 4-string bass

I think that covers my side of the collection. My girls got 9 guitars of her own, 1 bass, 3 electric, and 5 acoustics(most notable is her Martin OOO eric clapton signature model)
Shes probably the reason i own my Rics especially the 650, she pointed it out.
I lost my brother in 2010 to cancer. We played in many bands together. I miss him a TON.
HE was the guitar player in the family. I am a piano/keyboard player. I ended up with all his guitars...(both strats, the yamaha and another 6 string accoustic takamine which i gave to my son...so, now i am carrying the guitar player torch for him..and I'm getting pretty good.
Im not a religious man but i often feel he's helping me play ..I LOVE guitars..Music is like therapy for me...Huge Tom Petty fan here ..love there sound ..thus enter Rickenbacker!

Cheersz all..got a little caught in my story..sorry if i rambled

It really boils down to..1-Looks..a matter of taste ..mine, Rics win hands down
2-Playabillity..I feel trully great guitars play you. you don't really play them. theyll inspire you to go a certain way...my Rics do that every time
3-Sound..again a matter of taste..and really what do i know ..im just a piano player that loves guitar, but i find fenders all have that "california-ish" surffy sound built right in , which rics are sort of equal too IMO.
Gibsons are perfect for any gritty rock sound, and on the cleaner side of things jazz seems to ooze quite readilly from them. My Les paul has P90s which ive realized arent a regular thing but it s a rocket. Has anyone ever owned/played a Duesenberg?Straplayer TV perhaps? Im curious about them. Sorrry Mr Hall :P

I traded my AFJ85 and Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for a Memphis Flying V (Seventies era; MIJ), and an incredible Kramer Baretta Special.
