does rickenbacker plan to re release the 1998 or 1997 reissue models?

punkrockjock...Rickenbacker issued the Pete Townshend Limited Edition Model almost 20 years ago in 1987 and also that year, reissued the Rickenbacker 1997.

The suggested list price of the Pete Townshend model was $1225 plus case and the 1997VB (with vibrato) retailed for $1149 plus case.

History does repeat itself but not always on your timetable.
