Hello all. I've sadly decided it's time to sell my 1973 model 480 and I was wondering if anyone here could give me any info on what would be a fair price. It has a few small nicks and scratches but it's otherwise in great shape and still plays beautifully. Any help at all would be very welcome and greatly appreciated.

O.R.

I have been looking for one. What color is it and has it been modified in any way?

Welcome OldRicker. You should have no problem finding a home for it.

It's dark maroon in color. I haven't modified it in any way but I bought it used back in 86 or 87 and it's previous owner had installed some sort of 9v powered overdrive in it which fits completely under the face plate. The only physical alterations this seems to have required were drilling two holes in the plate to mount a small on/off toggle switch and it's volume control. Whoever did it did a good job because it looks like it came that way from the factory.

That's what I was thinking about. I've got a 76 4001 bass (cream colored with black trim) I may be selling too.
