Ok, I just wanted to let everyone know that might not be aware, that there is a really good Byrds tablature book available, at least in the UK (had to get mine from across the Atlantic). It has a good variety of songs and they seem to be very accurate. It's a really good starting point for people to get into playing the Byrds, as nothing can be more discouraging than trying to play from an internet tab that's way off from what you're hearing.

2)Ballad of Easy Rider
3)Chestnut Mare
4)Eight Miles High
5)I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better
6)Jesus is Just Alright (sorry that's the song title)
7)Lady Friend
8)Mr. Spaceman
9)Mr. Tambourine Man
10)My Back Pages
11)So You Want to Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star
12)Turn, Turn, Turn

Yes, not directly from Amazon UK but it is available from Amazon UK's "sub sellers."
Or one can get it directly from them. Same price.

It's really a great book and it's a lot of fun to finally learn some of these songs correctly. I normally try to keep my eyes open and ears to the ground on what's around like this and I was really excited to see a tab book on the Byrds published...finally. Enjoy the tabs and don't forget the compressor.

The book will be alot easier to follow than Roger's video.

He tunes his guitar down half a step and instead of just tuning up to concert for the sake of those trying to follow video, he demands everyone who every buys his video to detune their guitar to match his. What a nightmare.

To those that have this book, is it very detailed, or more of chord tabs and melody? For example, does it have accurate fingerpicking and breaks?

Thanks.

The book is like a lot of tab books. It has the guitar chords, the melody, and the tablature of the lead lines. It's really the standard setup and seems to be accurate.
