Real nice guitar but for me that's not a real 1997 re-issue cos the originals always came with an Accent vibrato unit.

I just scored a 1997 ReissUe with VB. Its from 1990 and is beautiful. Don't know if anyone saw it recently on ebay, but no one bid...probably because it was in Australia. I found the same gtr on gbase and the owner of the vintage shop there is great. It's been shipped and i hope to have it within the week. I'll give a review when it arrives...hopefully in 1 peice. PEACE!

Congrats on your new purchase. I actually had my eye on the very same 1997 you just scored, but have been deciding if I should get one with a middle pickup (1997SPC or 1998PT). Anyway, post some pictures if you can, and congrats!

Slightly off the beaten track a 1965 1997 sold last week http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/lot_ ... ID=5119294As for the Re-issue 1996 AFG Don't hang around ! By my estimation there are 1 or 2 left in the USA of the 2008 production run and 2 or 3 in jet glo?? !!! King Regards Alex

Easy to install, this is true. More sustain with a Trapeze? I doubt it. It's just that I wouldn't want to buy a Rick and invest money to make it how it should have been in the first place.
