It was very well received and the W Series was one of the Premiere Guitar Editor's Picks for Day 2 at NAMM. These will start shipping by the end of February.

As it will be quite a while before one can be seen here in England, what is the neck profile on this? Is it round like my 2012 4003SB or slim like my 1974 4001JG? I had read something about the neck returning to a thinner profile from 2013. I noticed it is the standard 4003 headstock shape as far as I can make out. Thanks. Really like the maple fretboard by the way.

I hope to be able to purchase one.

SB stands for special brown; 25 for the UK market only in 2012 and I have #19. It's a little like Autumnglo. Back on topic though any ideas about the profile of the new 4003W?

I read somewhere that these would only be produced in 2014. Is that correct?

It's the "Color of the Year" for 2014, so yes. Though, I did hear from a fairly reliable source that if they sell well they may make more...
