Please recommend a tech/luthier I can go to regularly for proper setup on my '77 4001 bass. I want someone who knows about old 4001's -- e.g., the dual trussrod system, setting a neck with zero relief -- someone who won't treat a 4001 like a P-bass.

I've been to Mandolin Bros, and they do great work, but Staten Island is just too long a haul from where I am (Manhattan, no car) to use them regularly.
