Does anybody in the Rickenbacker forum nowhere I can find a 4001 or 4003 Azureglo in mint condition, I'm really jonesing for one, I figured it would be a long shot but I would adleast ask where I could possibly find one to buy.

This 1978 4001 went on eBay about 3 months ago for $1100 IIRC. It was a beaute - one owner. If I could have remained married after purchasing it I would have owned it!

Gret color John, I like very much this kind of brown finiture ,Autumnglo and Montezuma! IMHO they are even better than FG.

Johnallg that is absoulutely sweet looking 4001, let me know if you ever decide to part with it.

Unfortunately it is not mine - I couldn't justify the purchase right after my 4003, 2 Ampeg heads, a cab, and scads of string sets. I saved the pictures off ebay because it was such a beautiful color and burst pattern. Sigh..... COY for 2007??!!
