In addition to John's info, you will need to use the tuner bushings currently in your headstock because the #00550 tuner bushings require a slightly larger hole. Also, the C64 tuner shaft is slightly larger than the #00550 tuner shaft, which means that the shaft will be a tighter in the C64 bushing, and possibly require drilling of the bushing oversize. Remove the bushings if you have to drill them so they don't catch on the drill bit and spin in the headstock.

Dane, in the tests we did before I answered his question, we didn't run into this problem. The prexisting bushing worked fine with the modern tuner.
