The '60s style vintage RIC case is about as excellent as it gets.Check it out at the Musicians Friend website. |

I had the same thing happen repeatedly to my SKB cases and didn't want to fork out the dough for the reissue case since I use a gig bag for most gear schlepping. I still wanted a case for gigs, however. If I wait for the right timing I can always get a good deal at GC, so I went with the Road Runner RRMBG case they carry. Just slightly longer than needed for a Ric but width is a perfect fit. Good storage pockets, and a strap that keeps the neck in place if you feel inclined to use it (doesn't seem necessary to me). Since I only had to shell out a little over $50 I felt good about it. I've been using it for a couple of months and have no complaints. In some ways it seems a lot sturdier than the SKB cases. Really the only thing it's missing is the molded interior. |

These are great. What is the price of that vintage look case? It said email for price and I did about 8 hours ago. |

They're $230 at Musicians Friend,which seems to be the lowest I've seen,these cases don't seem to be easy to find. |
