I was checking out a few new Ric 4003 models at a local music store and noticed that the necks on them felt a bit wider at the nut (to me anyway) My question is, do the newer models have wider necks than the older models? I had a 1978 4003 and sold it due to the neck being very thin and a bit uncomfortable for me. I'm looking into getting another Ric (hopefully a 70's model) but if the newer ones have wider necks, I'll probably go with one of them. BTW, I'm left handed so trying to find a lefty 70's Ric is pretty difficult. |
