 Post subject: Bad to repeatedly detune low e on a 4003?

Needing lower notes.
Is it bad to change the low e string to d, c, or b and back to e for songs on an almost daily basis?
Or can the necks on the 4003's handle it?

It won't hurt the neck. It might fatigue the string, which would be inconvenient. Are you de-tuning by hand, or using an appliance such as a Dipshot D-tuner?

Or why not just get a string one size larger, like a 110 instead of a 105, and keep the low string on a D?
