After 4 bottles of Super-drug Acetone, the terrible blood red paint job on my 'wrong' 4001S has revealed what I believe to be a smashed and patched V63; am I correct ?
Which means I have 70s metalwork on a 80s woodwork?
Please see attached pics.. red is before the acetone : )

Some more pics:
The pots are 73, serial plate is Oct 73,
but the bodywork confuses me; the headstock has just three screw holes for the logo plate, like a V63 should, but the bridge has just three screw holes, V63 has 5.
Also their is virtually no heel; possibly its been shaved off, or is this common?
Can anyone help identify?
