Has anybody tried the Bass V Amp from Behringer? I know the Pod XT is pretty highly reccomended here and I also know you generally get what you pay for, but the Behringer is $200 less with similar features. Are they any good?

Thanks

I use one of those and find it a good unit to have in a project studio invironment. It's like having a Swiss Army knife of preamps. For a while I ran the Bass through it and a 400W QSC power-amp into 4x15 JBL's.Was OK till I started using an SVT 3Pro.There is no way the Behringer can keep up with that.Modelling on the Behringer is OK, effects are weak. But you can also use it for acoustic guitars and keyboards as well. For the price its a great unit. For running Bass through it it's OK, but you never get an SVT sound or Marshall sound out of it, that's for certain.
