Hi, Suggestions Wanted: I am trying to decide the best configuration for my Rig while using RIC-O-Sound. I can Go Treble pickup into Marshall Tube head into 210 cab and Bass Pickup into Hartke ss head into 115 cab. or Bass pickup into Marshall head into 115 & treble pickup into Hartke head into 210. or any combination of the above. I know what I think sounds best but... not in a live gig situation. Thanks for any suggestions or feedback on this subject.

Hmm, interesting. I'm trying to sort out the same kind of dilema myself.
I guess it depends on how much tonal contrast between the pickups you want. Personally, I would use whichever amp sounds most clear for the treble pickup with the 210 and use the other with the 115 for the bass and depth. At least that's my own plan.
I wouldn't know which is which as I'm not that familiar with either of those, but I would speculate that each amp must fall into one of those catagories or the other.

Or you can use it to run different effects on each pickup, blend sounds or use the toggle switch to activate the effects on one pickup or the other.

I ended up settling on the Hartke solid state head thru a Neo 115 cabinet for Bass and The Marshall Tube head thru the 210 Neo cabinet. It sounds great, very clear and the growl is in all the right places.

Personally I would run the neck pup through a SVT-IV then into 2x15" reflex cab...
Then run the treble pick-up into an old tube SVT head into a 8x10 cab...
;)

When I play Madison Square Garden, I'll difinitely use that setup. For Miss Kitty's in MT Airy NC that wouldn't leave any room for the rest of the band on stage.

I have been experimenting with the many choices available and one thing has struck me. I can actually have more control by running Mono and have both pickups feed both heads. Then I can EQ each head for my overall tone. Just a thought.

Keep in mind that in "Ric-O-Sound" your signal will be stronger than in MONO....
The reason is that the 250K volume pots are paralleled in mono..which loads down the signal more.... In STEREO each 250K volume pot is isolated and you get a stronger signal..
If you need to prove it to yourself..then listen to the sound of just your bridge pick-up in either the MONO jack then in the STEREO jack...

I run my ROS like this:
trebel to my effects to chanel 1 of my line mixer
bass clean to chanel 2 of my line mixer
line mixer into my only amp (Ampeg b2r/410HLF)
