Some of you may recall a post I made a month or two ago questioning the authenticity of a Rickenbacker 4003 I was contemplating buying. Well that deal fell through.

Now a guy I know is trying to sell me an 843 4003 in Inca Silver. It is kind of scuffed up. Belt buckle rash, rusted pickup surround. Does Rickenbacker do refinishing? Or anyone know of a trusted source to refinish a Rickenbacker.

Also is the pick up surround for 4003s sold by Rickenbacker?

Ric won't do the refinishing but if you go to the restoration threads on this forum, there are a couple of guys there that do awesome work on Rics, Jingle_Jangle is one and DaleFortune is the other.
