Schaller tuners, personalized with our name. Must be at least 15 years that we've been doing this.

I have a new-to-me '79 or '80 4001, and the tuners are shot. Are those cool Rickenbacker-badged tuners a drop-in replacement?

Caifo, yes, those are the tuners I was referring to. I wonder if they are a direct drop-in replacement for the tuners used around '79, or if I'd have to drill new screw holes.

About 18 years ago, I changed out the tuners on my '79 for newer ones which seem to be the same ones that are available now. I didn't have to drill new holes.
