Very, very nice. I envy anyone that can do this stuff. And excellent Jingle-Jangle job. As for anyone who says they don't like purple never saw the Northwestern University football team on the field on a bright Oct. afternoon, though they have toned it way down in their uniforms, with black, since the 1970, when it was absolutely screaming.

Dang I like that color. Superb job, JJ.
Looks like your deck could use a touch up, though.

Hey JingleJangle, glad to see you posted the pics here, too!

The guitar arrived to me today, and is safely acclimating in its box; I will post my feelings about it tomorrow after I get a chance to enjoy it in hand and get reacquainted with my first Rickenlove! :)

I love the purple color. It is tempting to buy another RIC just to get one in that color.

I wonder HOW MUCH something like that would cost?

Although the purple is cool looking I cant imagine playing a purple guitar.

I've never owned a purple guitar, either, Ken. But I kinda developed a soft spot (in my head?) working on this one.

Lots of people who don't like purple as a rule have told me they love this one. I have had no less than four refinish requests in purple since posting the pics of Melibee's here and on Peter's Forum. But Melissa's got the first, and she asked me to sign it, too...

As I said, color is a personal thing.

Might be a way to coax my bandmate/co-guitarist into a Ric.

Paul, looking back at the pic's the one of the purple guitar in its case looks the best IMO,I think because it looks darker around the edges, that I really like also it seems to make the gold stand out.

Beautiful work!

...and heck yeah I'd play a purple Ric! A 620 would look amazing in that finish!
