That is really fascinating; I really like the innovative way you found to rout the edge for and apply the binding after the color coat was applied, eliminating the time consuming step/necessity of scraping the binding after the color coat's appliced.

I also really liked the way one luthier, whose page I read recently, found to make one step/one strip combined white and checkered binding; the innter edge was checkered, while the outer edge is white-all in one piece. Very cool.
