I recently bought a nice new FG 4003S. I noticed though on the lower aspect on the body, that there are some scattered areas on the edges that are not perfectly smooth. Is there any compound that I apply to smoothen it? It has the feeling like those areas may have escaped some sanding at some point, perhaps, although I know how great the RIC finishing process is, so perhaps just a rough feeling clear coat??

Thanks for your help!

Hi Ric320Man
Wondering if you ever received any feedback from anyone on your finish question?

Maybe if you posted a couple photos of the "rough areas" of your "S" Bass in question, it might spur some person(s) with knowledge of these sort of things to make a comment or come up with a suggestion .

Thanks for your reply. No I didn't receive any other replies ... I will try to post some pictures within the next few weeks although it might be hard to photograph. Thanks again!
