Nope, Aquaglo is not a new COY. It's a color that I came up with at the request of this 325's owner.

Note that these pics are not really representative of the color, in the sense that my digital camera rendered the deep aqua around the edges of the burst, as a sort of bright blue, when in fact it's dark turquoise.

I routed the slash soundhole and narrowed the headstock by a bit over 1/4".

I finished this one off with gold guards, vintage knobs, and a modified Bigsby B5. All the old holes were dowelled up.

Enjoy!

i generally dont like to shy away from the factory rick colors, but this looks great. i actually prefer the shading of the first pics, the light turquois to darker blue. and ive always wanted to see that sound hole on the 325.
nice work

Stunning to say the least!

I could very easily could picture Lennon strumming this, circa 1967 around the time of the making of "Pepper"

I bet this Ric would have made him wanna give the Casino a break!

Great color choice and implementation - it also shows off the very nice grain. Paul, do you think the aqua showing as blue is due to the florescent lights?

I think that flourescent lights may be the culprit. I had planned on getting some daylight shots this weekend at home, but unfortunately did not make it into the office yesterday to pick it up. So I'll take it outside on Monday and get some shots.

Nice. What kind of tuners are on it?

By the way, what was the deal on F holes on 70s, early 80s 320s?

Some had 'em and some didn't or what?
