Hey Paul, does anyone know how many Gretsches they built in Chgo during the heyday, and how that came about?

I just wanted to let everyone know...I stripped & re-finished (natural) the back of the neck on my customers 2000 Jetglo 4003,and he couldn't be happier!I must admit...I certainly had mixed feelings about this...but it's super smoooooooooth satin finish, and the BEAUTIFUL maple beneath the Jetglo, have made me re-think my position. The back of the neck was chipped, dented, scratched & dinged pretty badly,so it actually looks MUCH better! And the feel...oooooohhh!Nice!A little talcum/baby powder...not bad at all!One last word:DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!This was not a modification for the novice,or the faint-hearted...Thanks for all of the great advice,Jingle_Jangle...you are INDEED the MAN!(it's not just a rumor)...
