Post subject:  electronics repair recommendation

I'm a new owner of a 360-12 and a new member of this site. After reading much about the .0047 cap alteration, I purchased one ( along w/ a new P/P tone pot) from Mike @ Ric Page. I'm not comfortable doing the install myself. Can anyone recommend a tech in Orange County that is capable. Thanks DA

DA, I'm not a tech, I'm a bassist with a great passion for Rickenbacker instruments. I can do setups and very minor repairs on guitars. If you wish, I would be happy to help you.

If you want a real OC guitar tech, this is a quote from Dale Fortune in an old thread:
Steve Soest is one of the best: he goes back to the early 70's for repairs and setups. You can go to his web site: stevesoest.com Then there's T R Guitars Tom Rieser is in Tustin (714) 731-6262 I reccomend Tom cause he learned under my guidance in the late 70's, then took over my shop when I moved to Oregon in 1983. Both are good but Rieser has more building experience than Soest

I'll have to agree with the previous post...my friend Don is a friend of Steve Soest, and he does indeed know his stuff. When "EVETS" wanted advise on how to build the Danelectro re-issues,who did they call? That's right...Steve Soest. He's been at this for a LONG time!

Thanks every body for chiming in.
I left a mess. for Steve Soest today.
Thanks Rickenbrother for your kind offer.
I'll keep that in mind if I hit a block wall.
