Hi,
I'm in need of a new toggle switch tip for my 1973 480. Can't find one in the usual places. Any ideas?
Thanks, Jimmy.

I bought a Gibson-style switch tip from Stewart Macdonald, and although it fits, I don't believe it is as long as the original. At the time, I didn't think to look into the knobs area of the Ric boutique, and assumed they only sold the entire switch (because I looked in the Electronics section for switch-related stuff).

Yeah but the ones on the Rick site are only chrome or gold. Be careful, that black one is a sleeve and not a toggle cover. it looks big in the picture but it is like .125" tall or something like that.

Wow, I just ordered this over the phone from you! Looks like it may have led to a good thing.

Thanks again, Richard!

Now that's service! No, the Gibsons aren't correct and no one carries the longer Rick style ones. Now I can get one from Rick. = )

Yes, be careful not to order the two dollar black sleeve thinking it's going to screw onto your toggle switch post. The actual bat in black is part #03568. Richard rocks. Looks like the 4001 knobs will also be available in a week or so.
