Since the "what does the C in C-Series" thread seems to be running out of steam I thought this might be an entertaining replacement.

How do you lose a truss rod cover?

Not really losing but, I'm considering selling my 2008 330 Truss Rod Cover with the crazy prices they bring on eBay. ...and then I'll have a custom 330 as well!

Or maybe I'll start a TRC bubble by scooping them all up and reselling them. I'll be the Olivia's of Truss rod covers.

It's easy. Mine hasn't been on my 330/12 for years because I got tired of having to loosen all those strings holding it down every time I need to adjust the truss rods as the seasons change.

I think it's around here somewhere....

I have the TRC off a 4003 while I'm adjusting the neck, and it's in a baggie in the case.

I'm sure it'll pick up in a few months or so...

With the prices on Ebay, I'm sure a lot are getting "lost" these days...

You did what? Was this a one for one swap OR DO/DID YOU HAVE EXTRA TRCs?

I ve got some instruments that came with black TRC´s and some with white ones. So I took them off and swapped them on the instruments. And once I took of a black one, didi´nt found the time to replace it on the guitar and it seems it get lost during moving. (Also the bridge cover of my 330...)

Another hint: You can trade in a black one for a white one and other way around at RIC.
By the way, there was a time when you could buy different TRC´s easily from RIC.
