I think the COY for '07 should be JetGlo. It looks great, it's popular, and doggone it, people like it!

How much more black could it be?

Sometimes there's a big difference between getting what's available and getting exactly what you want.

This is true. More than anything I want a Montezuma Brown 360, but the 330 is a workhorse and fills the need nicely.

Yes!
While branded by many as "the bread and butter Ric" it's quite handy to have a 330 around and extremely handsome at that with impeccable fit and finish to boot.
Hey!, It's a Ric!

The 330 does most things super well and quite frankly I'd much prefer to have a 330 then I would over just about any Fender or Gibson product currently offered "custom shop" or otherwise.

I disagree about Ric as *not* a collector's fave comment, COY is geared toward that. Also, ask anyone who's hanging on to thier 362s and 4080s, knowing what BIG $$ those pups fetch on the market....

I'm sure there are loads of guys on the forum who'd be more than happy to get their mitts on a "bread and butter" model, and for whom the idea of COY, while *nice*, is not an essential.

Uh, (raising hand) that would be me. Just sign me as one of the plebs with his nose pressed against the window.

COY models are just as much of interest to players as well as collectors in my reckoning.

I have owned an 87 4003 and the 2004 4003FG we did a 4-2-5 on. Loved 'em both, but when I grabbed a hold of the 4004cii MB, that was IT! Talk about prying from cold dead hands!
