I've never yet met anyone who could wait 48 hours to open a newly arrived Rick.

There are some on the Rick Resources forum who have done just that.

Hmmm. . . yea I could and would, if either of the two 370's I'm waiting on, end up arriving here in the winter months. More than likely, you've probably been waiting quite some time to get your Ric, so what's another couple of days?

when my 325c64 arrived at my hotel in new york, I decided against opening it all up, as i would have just had to pack it all back into the boxe(s) (it was double boxed!) and so for 4 days it sat in it's box for 4 days before I brought it hom to scotland, needless to say when I finally got home it was out and in my hands within 5 mins of me getting in my door!

WOW, the patience of a saint!
I opened my Rick before the post guy could set up his gadget for me to sign!

Anything electronic coming from cold to warm climate is better to leave be for few hours. That goes for amps...cameras, DVD, TV.....as I said anything electronic. Condensation and a plug in AC is da unfriendly bi..h and it can kill too.

Cheers

People in Europe are dying for Ricks. But the demand just outweighs the production.

Yes, this has been asked and discussed 128093479283512431123 times before.

As someone mentioned, the RIC carton says don't open for 48 hours.

My thoughts on this issue are already out there for the record.

I've been trying to save for a Rickenbacker since 2001. I often wonder if I'll get into an accident and die before I get one.

Such a pleasant post, isn't it?
