Found this on ebay.co.uk. Four 75th Anni Ric's in one listing. Only £8K! GBP.

so I'm guessing he maxed out his cc's so he could buy all 4. I wish I had thought of that. I guess this is Deja Vu because this just goes back to how much I dislike people who buy things in mass quantity just so they can sell them for more. It's too bad that there are too many good people or else if I was RIC, I would flood the market with guitars and devalue all of them just to ruin this guys plan. I'm cranky this morning.

Yes, this "sale" has been up for a long or it is a re-listing.

I thought I had heard that because he got zero bids he sold one (or more) of the "set" individually.

Just offered him £2K (GBP) for the 4003. Will only sell it individually if I pay £2500 (GBP).

Decisions, decisions!

Well at least he reduced the 4003 price by £500 then. Makes me feel slightly better! lol.. I just bought it for £2500 GBP.

..Only thing is, I wont dare play the thing when it turns up! Most frustrating.

I bet you would. Believe me theres nothing I would like more than cranking this one up and playing it for days on end. But, unfortunatley, this is an investment guitar. Why else make 75 of them worldwide with only 15 sent outside of the states? Maintaining its value depends entirely on it being kept in 'mint' condition.

Oh well, least I can look upon it longingly, take pics of it, and annoy everyone I know talking about it for the next 12 months.

Heh heh!

Oh no, you must play it. Just take care and wipe off your fingerprints afterwards. I get the investment thing, but you just gotta play that thing!
