Teh 330/360 choice is clearly one of aesthetics. As they both play and sound nearly identical (I don't want to get into a debate here, folks!), it's mostly what looks better to your eyes.

Beatlefreak....Cogent point. I quite agree ~ six of one and half-dozen of the other. Late....Goofyfoot.

I at one time had both a 330 and a 360 and after
getting each setup I plsyed the 360 more than the
330. Today I have a 350V63 because its my all time
favorite guitar.If I didn't have my 350V63 then
I would go with the 360 because I like going to
two amps.

Well, I got the 330, in MapleGlo. It's a dream come for me. It's the nicest guitar I've ever played.

Which only goes to show - thank goodness RIC make both models!

I'm gonna buy a 360 FG this year. Twill be my first ric. It seems like the perfect guitar to me but I often get a subtle impression that within this forum community, a 6 string 360 is seen as lame or something. Seems like everyone always recommends to get a 12 string 360 instead.

NO. I love my 360/6 JG. But then I also have a 360/12 FG. Two different guitars two different sounds.

Nah. . . I've never gotten that impression and as far as I'm concerned, all Rics are good, 6, 12, 4, 8, doesn't matter. My first Ric was a 325v63 6 string. I currently have a 370/6 & 370/12 on order and if I had to choose just one of those 370's, it would be a very hard choice! Luckily I don't have to :)

Now if I could only get them. . .

Check out how my 360-12 FG sounds on You Tube! I'm not well known or even that great of a guitar player...but my Rickenbacker 360-12 still sounds great in spite of my skill or lack there of!

After reading the forum this past summer, I made the decision to change the stock high gains out for the "Vintage Toasters" (7.4k) and they really have given me the sound I was looking for.

These are awesome guitars that are extremely well made and I recommend them highly to everyone that has contacted me about them. As we all know, nothing else sounds like a Rickenbacker! - Buddy Clontz
