Hey, mates, been away from the forum for a month or so, just logged in to find I'm a Barracuda -- and I was so close to being a Guitar God. Now I see Eels, Sharks and other fish-life swimming around me on the forum.
Did this just happen, or is it old hat by now?
What is the new rating system? Is there a Fish-God at the top of the five sided 3D object, like Neptune? That would be cool.

Oh, this is so Forum-like. In my post above, I used a word to describe something you might find in Egypt, very ancient, one of the 7 wonders of the world. Also commonly used as a metaphor for an organizational structure, such as "the CEO is at the top of the [blank]."
And the word Tetrahedron automatically replaced the word I used. Oh, man, I need a drink. Get me out of here.

Ok, I had my drink and fixed it.
It's all in the spelling, I guess.
Like the "C" word. [See the Deja Vu thread with close to 300 posts.]

You're a fish, there's plenty to drink here. I think the change to fish happened in late October, probably just after your last visit. I think the food chain ends with the shark, for us mortals anyway.

We have now been assigned to the underwater world of Triton and will dwell there for the time being.

As far as I know, when Chris Squire started posting on the forum some people commented on the fact that he was labeled as a "groupie" while some of us mere mortals were "guitar gods". This just didn't seem right, so John Hall turned us all into fish.

At first I objected at moving from barracuda to eel with my 200th post, but I re-thought it. An eel can be slippery, and some can even deliver an "electric" shock, whereas a barracuda looks fierce, but just hangs around with a big mouth full of teeth, waiting for it's next meal; kind of like a visiting relative.
