Could've made you a Guitar Cod instead.
Well I wish, I was a Catfish...
Tried fish-finger picking? :-)

Guess I'll have to try and learn "Barracuda" on one of my 12s.

Quote: The real sense of this doen´t come to my mind already. I think it started with the entry level "Groupies" being re-named "Groupers." Then the forum was out to sea and we were named and re-ordered along the lines of someone's idea of fish-hierarchy. Or, as they say, a Tetrahedron (pronounced tet-rah-heed-run).

Is there anything higher than a shark? Or is that all we have to look forward to? Sharks are in constant motion, never sleep, are not particularly social and have other undesirable habits and instincts. Even though that may describe most of us who have been hanging around here too long, it's not polite to call us that in public.

So, I'm new to this forum, having finally brought home my first Ric (650C!!) literally 4 hours ago. And then I see that "grouper" label, and I'm thinking: "Did I forget to fill in one of the blanks on the profile or something?" I mean, I had no idea what grouper status signified, but it didn't sound like a particularly exalted kind of creature. Now that I'm getting the general idea of it, I'm okay with biding my time, for it is better to be annointed than annoyed, and anyway, who among us is as evolved as we would like to be? At least I'm not a flounder, for Hall's sake (i.e., "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, etc.") As to the question at hand, I offer that we are oh-fish-all because upon close exSALMONation, we are HOOKED on Rics while we play our SCALES so that all the GILLS will love us and we'll get lucrative enDORSALments...end of deBAIT! Meanwhile, I'm secretly hoping we'll soon have enough cool cats to go around, so I can be a Cheetah. Thank you.

All this is well and good but it seems to forget that we are Fish due to Chris Squires latest release.
By the way, those puns are really, really bad… which is why I think I like them so much!
I am more interested in finding out when we'll be back to normal!

Thank you. A good thing, too, or else you might be PUNished further!

Quote: The trouble is that when I turn into a salmon, I won't be wily any more. And I like being the Wily Trout. Don't pout, Trout-- you'll always be the queen of the (ahem) Wiley Post...I'm still jealous of that Coleoptera/Beatles zinger you pulled off on the other forum.
