Yes, I name all my guitars, including my Ricks:
My 360 BlueBoy : "Ethel" My 4003 (JetGlo) : "Lucy"
And both of these guitars deserve the names I've given them, one way or another.

My 360/12 is Fireglo, and is "Roisin". Pron. roSHEEN. It's Irish for 'little rose'.

My '94 Jetglo 360 is called Baby. I can't really say how the name happened. I think it's because after a while, from using her more so than the Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion I used to have (called Brownie because it was tobacco sunburst), I started saying to myself, "it's time to play - come to mama Baby." I certainly didn't want to call it Blackie, since that's what Clapton's Strat was called. Besides, I'm not a big Clapton fan. Tomorrow, I pick up Baby. I have enough money to pay it off the balance I owe on it. 9 years after I foolishly sold Baby, I've been lucky enough to find it, and bring it back home.

I tend to refer to my 4001V63MG as "Blondie". I don't really have a name for the C64FG yet.

First off, I've got one of those Gecko Green Les Pauls- that I have no shortage of nicknames for, including: SourBall, Yoda, Granny Smith, Skittle,, you get the idea..
But as for my 620 BBR- the very first day I received it.. It was the "Goblin."

I never thought about a name for a guitar, but I call my car a piece'o'junk. Does that count?
Cheers!

Quote: Here's to a happy reunion, Ellen! Thanks! :) I got a bonus at work today. I counted my shekels tonight, and I have just enough to finish paying off Baby. She's coming home tomorrow, after work. I'll post photos
