What do I call my Rick? Gene. Well, actually, it's my wife's brother Rick, so he's my brother in law. His name is Richard, or Rick, but for the last 20 years or so, he's been going by Gene for some weird reason...

Well, I have not named all my Ricks yet, there are way too many.
But one of my favorites, a January 1970 4001 FG 21-fretter, is definitely and reverently named Susanna (after Susanna Hoffs of course!) She is 100% NOS-perfect, not a scratch or chip or hint of corrosion anywhere.
She is a true testament to the durability and high quality of the late sixties/early seventies best-of-all Ricks that Electro made, no doubt.
My friend Sergio in Portugal has an identical 1970 21-fretter named Jacklyn, and the two basses are fast friends :)
Next to be named is my 1966 4005 MG WB, gotta think up a good one for her...... anybody got any suggestions?

I name them all, but rarely to I refer to them by name. I usually just whistle and they come running.

My original 1997 4003 doesn't have a name - The bollox will do.
My C64 FG is called Wonderbass - it was given this name by my other band members and has stuck.
My C64S is affectionately known as Sir Paul.

I'm not very creative. I call my 4003 JG "the black one" and my 4001 AG "the blue one."

My 04 330x12 is called Mr Lover-Lover... I am glad other people have given them names now I don't have to feel so daft.
